2025 VFC Annual Re-Enrollment Training Guide
The 2025 Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Annual Training will consist of two of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) “You Call the Shots” training courses. The enrollee, primary VFC coordinator, and back-up coordinator must each complete both trainings individually. Access instructions on how to complete HERE. Also available in Spanish.
VFC Inventory Maintenance
VFC vaccines that have spoiled or wasted need to be manually removed from the inventory within Florida SHOTS. Find step-by-step instructions HERE to complete the adjustment, reporting and request shipping label if applicable. Also available in Spanish.
Let Florida SHOTS help you Reconcile VFC Inventory
Vaccines for Children (VFC) participants can access the Shots Recorded Report that provides a list of vaccinations recorded corresponding to the VFC PIN. This report used on an ongoing basis can assist in ensuring that VFC vaccines are accounted for in Florida SHOTS and avoid inventory discrepancies. Access our step-by-step guide on how to generate the report HERE. Also available in Spanish.
Annual User Confirmation
In an effort to continue to maintain a secured site, organizations will have an annual User Confirmation period to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to Florida SHOTS. The organization’s Local Organization Administrators (LOA) will have a 90-day period to confirm all the users that need to continue with access and any user not confirmed at the end of the period will lose access. The LOA’s will see an alert when they log in to Florida SHOTS seven days prior to confirmation period beginning and receive an email notification the day before. You can find step-by-step instructions on completing the user confirmation HERE. Also available in Spanish.
