Organizations are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to Florida SHOTS. Local Organization Administrators (LOA) need to routinely review the Personnel List to ensure only those users that need access remain active. Any user that is no longer with the organization must have their access terminated upon separation. Users who are no longer part of the organization and are not terminated are still able to access protected information and are able to add or edit information in Florida SHOTS.
In addition, in an effort to continue to maintain a secured site, organizations will have an annual User Confirmation period. LOAs will have a 90-day period to confirm all the users that need to continue with access.
