2023 VFC/COVID-19 Annual Re-enrollment Training
The Immunization Section's VFC/VFA/COVID-19 Annual Provider Staff Training consists of the "You Call the Shots” interactive, web-based training course. The enrollee, primary and back-up coordinators must review the required module(s) as well as complete an evaluation and posttest. Florida SHOTS LIVE Webinar: Annual Re-Enrollment for VFC/COVID-19 Program
Providers enrolled with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) and/or COVID-19 Vaccine Program will need to complete the annual re-enrollment within Florida SHOTS. The enrolled provider, primary and secondary contacts will receive a notification under the Florida SHOTS Task List within 60 days of re-enrollment due date. NEW Local Organization Administrator Guide
Each organization enrolled in Florida SHOTS has at least one user designated as Local Organization Administrator (LOA) to maintain their account. You can access step-by-step instructions on completing the various responsibilities that LOAs need to complete such as adding new users, unlocking user accounts, etc. Access the guide HERE.
INDIVIDUAL FLORIDA SHOTS ACCOUNTS
Remember that all users must have their own individual login information, and this is not to be shared with anyone. Florida SHOTS contains confidential patient information, and we thank all our users for your commitment to protecting the confidentiality and security of the system! Users can contact their Local Organization Administrator, or the Florida SHOTS help desk at 877-888-7468, option 2 for account assistance.
Don’t Forget to Check Your Codes!
Did you know that having incorrect or outdated CVX, MVX and VIS codes in your EHR’s immunization table can result in vaccine messages getting rejected and not transferring to patient records? VFC/VFA/COVID-19 Annual Re-enrollment UPDATE
Enrolled providers with the Vaccines for Children (VFC), Vaccines for Adults (VFA) and/or COVID-19 Vaccines Program now need to login to Florida SHOTS to submit the re-enrollment. In the past, the primary or secondary contacts could login and the enrolled provider would simply enter their password to submit it. Access our step-by-step guide on how to complete the VFC re-enrollment.
