Florida SHOTS LIVE Webinar: Assessing Immunization Coverage Levels
Health care providers have several tools available within Florida SHOTS to assist with their patient and inventory up to date. One of these tools, “Assess Immunization Levels,” allows providers to measure immunization coverage levels for childhood and adolescent vaccinations within their practice. During this webinar, you will learn everything you need to know to generate personalized assessments including the Survey Report, Summary Report, IQIP Report and the Patient List Report. Let Florida SHOTS help you reconcile VFC Inventory
Vaccines for Children (VFC) participants can access the Shots Recorded Report that provides a list of vaccinations recorded corresponding to their site/VFC PIN and most importantly on whether there’s an inventory match. The report used on an ongoing basis can assist in ensuring that VFC vaccines are accounted for in Florida SHOTS and avoid inventory discrepancies. 2026 VFC Annual Re-enrollment Training Guide
The 2026 Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Annual Training will consist of two of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) “You Call the Shots” training courses. The enrollee, primary VFC coordinator, and back-up coordinator must each complete both training sessions individually. Access instructions on how to complete HERE. Also available in Spanish.
Annual User Confirmation
Organizations are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to Florida SHOTS. In an effort to maintain a secure site, organizations will have an annual User Confirmation period. Local Organization Administrators (LOA) will have a 90-day period to confirm all the users that need to continue with access. Users who are not confirmed at the end of the confirmation period will have their accounts automatically inactivated.You can find step-by-step instructions on completing the user confirmation HERE. Each organization enrolled with Florida SHOTS has at least one user designated as a Local Organization Administrator (LOA) to manage their account.
