2025 VFC Annual Re-Enrollment Training Guide
The 2025 Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Annual Training will consist of two of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) “You Call the Shots” training courses. The enrollee, primary VFC coordinator, and back-up coordinator must each complete both trainings individually. Access instructions on how to complete HERE. Also available in Spanish.

Each organization enrolled with Florida SHOTS has at least one user designated as a Local Organization Administrator (LOA) to manage their account. During this webinar, we will review the various features that LOAs should regularly access to ensure their Florida SHOTS account is up to date. Topics include “User Confirmation” and managing your Personnel List (adding/terminating/activating user access). Click below to register! Did you know that having incorrect or outdated CVX, MVX and VIS codes in your EHR’s immunization table can result in vaccine messages getting rejected and not transferring to patient records? Save Time This Summer Give Parents Access to Their Child's 680 Form! As the summer rush sets in, your office will administer more vaccines and certify numerous DH Form 680s. Creating electronically certified (e-certified) forms within Florida SHOTS can be a huge timesaver for you and your patients. By e-certifying the forms, you not only save a copy that is accessible to schools and child care providers, but you can create a Parent PIN that allows a parent/guardian to print it from home. Parents/guardians are able to access the certified Form 680 by entering the Certification PIN and State IMM Id found on the information sheet that your office provides from Florida SHOTS. A PDF version of the form allows it to be printed or saved for easy access! La capacitación anual del personal de proveedores del programa VFC de la Sección de Inmunización requerirá tomar dos de los cursos de capacitación de la serie titulada “You Call the Shots” de los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades (CDC). La persona inscrita en el programa VFC, el coordinador principal de VFC y el coordinador suplente todos necesitan completar ambas capacitaciones individualmente. Cada usuario con acceso a Florida SHOTS debe tener su propia Identificación de Usuario y Contraseña. Para prevenir esto, siempre que hay un nacimiento múltiple, se debe de registrar el Resultado del Evento del Nacimiento (“Birth Event Order”) y Orden de Nacimiento (“Birth Order”). Esto ayudara a evitar que los registros de los hermanos se unan debido a similitudes en la demografía.
