If you would like to develop web services capabilities in your EHR to allow your clients to submit real-time immunization information to Florida SHOTS, sign up below. This will help us gather some basic information about your development capabilities and rollout timelines so we can better assist you and your clients as you go through the development process.

Please answer Yes or No to the following questions about the capabilities of your EHR.

Is the EHR capable of real-time web services interface for transmission?
Does the EHR use hub model to send information to Florida SHOTS?
Does the hub, queue the messages and transmit it together?
Does the EHR have the capability to auto resend an unsuccessfully transmitted message?
Does the EHR use HL7 version 2.3.1 (2.3.x thru 2.4.x)?
Does the EHR use HL7 version 2.5.1?
Can the EHR send CPT Codes in VXU messages?
Can the EHR send CVX codes in VXU messages?
Can the EHR record a vaccination as historical, if the vaccination was not administered but just recorded by the provider?
Can the EHR send Historical Shot Indicator for the vaccination not administered by the provider but just recorded?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send Administered at Location (Site ID in Florida SHOTS)?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send the manufacturer of the vaccine administered (MVX Codes)?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send the lot number of the vaccine administered?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send the expiration date of the vaccine administered?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send VFC eligibility of the vaccine administered?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send the funding source of the vaccine administered?
For vaccines administered by the provider, can the EHR send VIS publication dates corresponding to the vaccine administered?
Does the EHR have a method to confirm data quality prior to submission?
Does the EHR have priority or critical turnaround times (a "hot fix") for corrections that impact data rejection and/or that impact several providers using their software to report to Florida SHOTS?
Does the EHR have the capability to accept error messages and display it to the user?
Does the EHR have the capability to query Florida SHOTS and request immunization history or vaccine recommendation/forecast for patients?
Following a response from Florida SHOTS, can the EHR store the State Immunization ID from the return records?
Following a response from Florida SHOTS, can the EHR store or display vaccine forecasts and recommendations to the user?
Florida SHOTS only accepts administered vaccines given to the patient. Does your EHR software have the ability to filter refused or ordered shots?

Do you currently participate in the batch version of Florida SHOTS data upload?
What type of web services messaging do you anticipate using?
Approximately how many immunizing healthcare providers will be included as part of that initial rollout?
