Data Upload Webinars

  • Upload Log Reports for Private Providers: Data upload participants are encouraged to check their Upload Log Reports in order to ensure vaccinations are uploading properly to the registry. This webinar covers everything you need to know to monitor your uploads for errors and review your transaction history.

 

VFC Vaccine Management/Florida SHOTS Training

  • 2017 VFC Annual Provider Staff Training: Completion of this webinar is required for every Enrollee, Primary Vaccine Coordinator and Back-up Vaccine Coordinator at each provider location. The training provides a review of VFC policies and procedures and emphasizes the VFC program changes for 2017.
  • VFC Temperature Logs: The Florida VFC Program requires providers to upload vaccine temperatures into Florida SHOTS. This webinar will demonstrate all of the temperature monitoring and reporting functions within the system. Participants will learn how to upload temperatures directly from a continuous temperature monitoring device (Log Tag).

  • Florida SHOTS 101: This webinar covers the basics of logging into your Florida SHOTS account and navigating the menu items. 
  • Working as a Florida SHOTS Local Organization Administrator: This webinar reviews important tasks and responsibilities for users who have been designated as a Local Organization Administrator (LOA). 
  • Working with Patient Information: This brief webinar demonstrates important aspects of working with patient records in Florida SHOTS. 
  • Adding Vaccinations for County Health Departments: This webinar covers all aspects of the “Vaccinations” menu item within Florida SHOTS. 
  • Creating Forms for County Health Departments: In this webinar, participants will learn how to properly create, view, and print forms within Florida SHOTS. 
  • Assessing Immunization Coverage Levels (AFIX): Participants will learn how to run immunization coverage reports in Florida SHOTS and conform to AFIX standards.
  • Reminder/Recall: Learn how to generate reminder/recall reports for patients who are, have been, or will become due for various vaccinations within Florida SHOTS. You will also learn how to create reminder/recall mailing labels. 
  • Managing Your Patient Status for CHDs: In this webinar, audiences will learn to properly manage patients within Florida SHOTS and utilize the registry to provide follow up activities to children receiving immunization services. 
  • System Transactions for CHDs: Participants will learn the high level overview of activity that has been performed within their organization and allows monitoring of user actions. These functions also show statistical information related to interactions between the HMS database system and Florida SHOTS.
  • Reports for CHDs: In this brief webinar, participants will learn how to properly create, view, and print various reports within Florida SHOTS. Topics include: reports to view vaccine usage over specified time periods, a physical inventory worksheet, the vaccine accountability report, vaccine forecasting and the religious exemption report.

  • VFC Annual Enrollment: As of March 9, 2015, VFC providers will be able to complete the annual VFC enrollment process within Florida SHOTS. This webinar will demonstrate the new procedures that your practice will follow for VFC annual enrollment or to make any changes to the Provider Agreement or Provider Profile. 
  • Vaccine Inventory Maintenance for County Health Departments: This webinar is specifically for County Health Departments and covers accepting pending receipts, inventory reconciliation, adjustments, transfers, and all aspects of managing your site’s vaccine inventory in Florida SHOTS. 
  • VFC Aging Vaccine Report: This webinar demonstrates how to run a report in Florida SHOTS to identify vaccines in your VFC inventory that have already expired, or will be expiring in the next 30, 60, or 90 days. 
  • VFC Direct Electronic Ordering for CHDs: This webinar covers placing your site’s regularly scheduled order request directly into Florida SHOTS. Participants will learn how to review current inventory, as well as entering doses requested. You will also learn how to understand projection information and how to provide reason for requested doses that exceed projected numbers. This webinar walks you through every step of your order throughout the process. 
  • VFC Wasted/Returned Vaccines for CHDs: In this presentation, participants will learn the different methods for making adjustments to their inventory and how to electronically report wasted and returned vaccines to the VFC program.
