Available Anytime, AnywhereWe offer a wide variety of on-demand training options (all in English and Spanish) to meet your needs: Recorded Trainings: Learn at your own pace with recorded sessions covering key topics such as patient record management, user responsibilities, and system updates. Guides: Quick-reference documents are available to help walk you through common tasks step by step. Role-Specific Training: Resources are available for providers, Local Organization Administrators (LOAs), schools and childcare facilities, and other user groups. Don't Forget! You can also find current announcements and training opportunities on our Login page! The Florida SHOTS information system is located on a secure server with password-restricted access. We use the latest encryption and firewall safeguards. All accounts are given access to the system only after we have verified that they have appropriate licensing in the state of Florida. Florida SHOTS LIVE Webinar: Assessing Immunization Coverage Levels
Health care providers have several tools available within Florida SHOTS to assist with their patient and inventory up to date. One of these tools, “Assess Immunization Levels,” allows providers to measure immunization coverage levels for childhood and adolescent vaccinations within their practice. During this webinar, you will learn everything you need to know to generate personalized assessments including the Survey Report, Summary Report, IQIP Report and the Patient List Report. We understand that users may have questions about specific Vaccines for Children (VFC) functions within the Florida SHOTS. During this webinar, we will review items such as how to add/edit calibration certificates to your vaccine storage units, add VFC access to user accounts, re-enrollment, and address inventory discrepancies during the ordering process. Let Florida SHOTS help you reconcile VFC Inventory
Vaccines for Children (VFC) participants can access the Shots Recorded Report that provides a list of vaccinations recorded corresponding to their site/VFC PIN and most importantly on whether there’s an inventory match. The report used on an ongoing basis can assist in ensuring that VFC vaccines are accounted for in Florida SHOTS and avoid inventory discrepancies.
