2026 VFC Annual Re-enrollment Training Guide
The 2026 Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Annual Training will consist of two of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) “You Call the Shots” training courses. Vaccines for Children (VFC) participants can access the “Shots Recorded Report” that provides a list of vaccinations recorded corresponding to the VFC PIN. This report used on an ongoing basis can assist in ensuring that VFC vaccines are accounted for in Florida SHOTS and avoid inventory discrepancies. 2025-2026 Flu Pre-Booking
Providers participating with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) or Vaccines for Adults (VFA) Program can now pre-book their flu vaccines within Florida SHOTS. Only the enrolled provider, primary or back-up VFC coordinator can complete the pre-booking. We recommend you review your administration data from the current flu season to determine the number of doses to pre-book for 2025-2026. Find step-by-step instructions on how to pre-book. Flu Vaccines Expiring
With the end of the current 2024-2025 flu season approaching, flu vaccines will be expiring. These vaccines need to be manually removed from your VFC vaccine inventory in Florida SHOTS. You can find instructions for completing this adjustment, reporting, and requesting a mailing label for any unpunctured vials or unused syringes. Download in English or Spanish.

Expired and wasted Vaccines for Children (VFC) vaccines need to be manually removed from your inventory and reported within Florida SHOTS. 2024 Holiday VFC Vaccine Shipping and Ordering Schedule
Reminder for Vaccines for Children/Vaccines for Adults (VFC/VFA) providers: Orders generated after December 12 may not ship until January 2, 2025. There will be no deliveries from December 23rd to January 2nd. If you have specific questions, you may contact the VFC Program via email at FloridaVFC@FLHealth.gov or via phone at 1-877-888-7468.
