LIVE Webinar: Florida SHOTS Reports

During this month’s live webinar sessions, we will demonstrate how to create, view and print several helpful reports in Florida SHOTS. These include the Vaccine Utilization Report that provides vaccine usage for a specified time period, Religious Exemptions to view patients with religious exemptions, and the Patient Status that lists the patients for which your organization is the Current Immunization Provider (CIP).

Valuable Tool: Vaccine Utilization Report

If you notice any discrepancies in your “Shots Recorded” and “Doses Administered” when placing your Vaccines for Children order, generate the Vaccine Utilization Report to help resolve the issue. The report will provide your organization’s vaccine usage details that have been entered, either manually or uploaded from your EHR, for a specified time period. As a best practice, you can generate this report on a weekly basis to ensure all the vaccines are being properly documented in Florida SHOTS and stay on top of managing your inventory.

Data Quality Report Guide Is Now Available!

The Data Quality Report is a tool available in Florida SHOTS to help data upload participants monitor and track uploads to prevent errors and rejections. Users with access to the “System Transaction” menu will see the “Upload Data Quality Report.” This report will allow users to review data quality and will help practices quickly identify any problems and make the necessary corrections.

Vaccine Utilization Guide Now Available!

The new Vaccine Utilization Report Guide is now available, and will show you step-by-step instructions to generate this report in Florida SHOTS. The report will provide your organization’s vaccine usage information that has been entered either manually or uploaded from your EHR in Florida SHOTS for a specified time period. 

This report may assist Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers that are having discrepancies with the “Shots Recorded” and “Doses Administered” totals when placing their VFC vaccine orders.

Ongoing Monthly Training for Data Upload

If your office participates in data upload from your EHR, it’s important to ensure that the vaccine records are uploading properly into Florida SHOTS by checking for errors.
