  • LIVE Webinar: Florida SHOTS Reports

During this month’s live webinar sessions, we will demonstrate how to create, view and print several helpful reports in Florida SHOTS. These include the Vaccine Utilization Report that provides vaccine usage for a specified time period, Religious Exemptions to view patients with religious exemptions, and the Patient Status that lists the patients for which your organization is the Current Immunization Provider (CIP).

  • Give Parents Access to Their Child’s 680 Form!

Creating electronically certified DH680 forms can be a big timesaver for you and your patients. By electronically certifying within Florida SHOTS, you not only save a copy that is accessible to schools and daycares, but you can create a Parent PIN that allows a parent/guardian to print it from home.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) and is held to highlight the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. Communities across the country use the month each year to raise awareness about the important role vaccines play in preventing serious, sometimes deadly, diseases across the lifespan.

Use this busy time in your office to administer all required and recommended shots to your patients of all ages! Check those vaccine records!

  • Overdue Status for Flu Vaccine

With the latest registry release, we have received many inquiries regarding patients showing up as “overdue” for the influenza vaccine. Each flu season starts on July 1st of the current year and ends on June 30th of the following year. We understand that 2018-2019 flu vaccines may not be available for a few more weeks, but want to reinforce the importance of getting patients vaccinated at every opportunity.
