Reminder/Recall is one of the many tools in Florida SHOTS that helps you boost immunization levels in your practice. Your office can create lists of patients who are due or overdue for immunizations and even create and print mailing labels. Keep track of your patients’ shots and never miss an opportunity to vaccinate! For step-by-step instructions on how to run a reminder/recall report in your office, check out our “Reminder/Recall Guide.”
The NO-COST, 4-hour workshop is provided for physician practices by the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC). This new, national education and training program aims to improve adult immunization coverage by increasing the use of standing orders programs (SOPs) in medical practices.
It will be conducted in Orlando on Tuesday, April 12, and in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, April 13, from 10:00 to 2:30pm (lunch provided). For more information on Take A Stand™ and to register for these workshops, visit www.StandingOrders.org.
In this issue we’re announcing the new and enhanced adolescent coverage reports, providing you with a list of data upload participating software companies, and highlighting one of our star users in the state. Check it out today!
VFC providers are required to upload temperature log files in Florida SHOTS. All month, we will offer live training webinars covering temperature monitoring with data loggers, common errors, and what to do if you have temperature excursions.
